Community Development activities support the arts as a vital part of Oregon communities with grants, networking, and convenings.

Creative Capacity Initiative

The new capacity-building initiative of the Oregon Arts Commission, designed to help address how arts organizations of Oregon can be stronger, effective and more nimble as they move into the future. The initiative commenced on September 30, 2009. In addition to the convening, OAC is holding regional workshops and facilitating Webinars, and has launched an on-line learning community.
